Make room for guests—and their drinks
Plan reachable drink spots before guests arrive, without filling the route through the room.

Look at each seat
From each actual seating position, identify a stable, visible place to set a drink. A single spot near your favorite chair may not help someone sitting at the other end of the room. Avoid layouts that require guests to pass open drinks over one another or step around glasses on the floor.
Match the holder to the drink
Steadi fits container bases 2–3.15 inches across. Check the bottom, shape and handle clearance rather than assuming every glass or tumbler will work. It is fine for different guests to use different suitable solutions; matching holders matter less than clear, accessible placement.
Keep extra furniture useful
A spare stable table can be more helpful than placing drinks on a narrow sofa arm. Confirm it does not block the room’s walking route. If you use a tray, check its support and remove drinks before moving it or changing the furniture beneath it. A freestanding holder cannot secure an entire tray.
Leave enough room to pick up the drink
The holder’s 5.2-inch footprint is only the starting measurement. Give each drink clearance from edges, hands and nearby objects. Check the arrangement again after food, plates and bags arrive. A setup that looked clear while the room was empty can become crowded quickly.
Keep expectations simple
Tell guests where the drink spots are and make space for unfamiliar drinkware. Wipe up moisture promptly; Steadi is not a waterproof mat or spill seal. Afterward, hand wash the holders as needed and let them dry. The goal is a room that remains easy to use, not a promise that no guest will ever knock something over.
