One table for work, dinner and downtime
Build a simple reset for a table that changes jobs during the day.

Separate the jobs in time
A small dining table may also be a work surface. Before switching to a meal or a quiet break, close and move the laptop, cables and paperwork. Keeping a drink close to electronics is not made safe by placing it in a holder. Clear the surface first so the next use has room of its own.
Reserve a usable drink area
Choose a level area where the full 5.2-inch Steadi footprint rests on the table, with room around it for your hand. Avoid piles of papers, the table edge, a wobbling fold-out section or a cloth that can be pulled. Measure across your drink’s base for the 2–3.15-inch fit range, then check that it seats fully.
Give loose objects a home
A small basket or drawer can hold chargers and stationery between uses. Keep the basket away from the drink spot so it does not become another obstacle. This is a practical routine suggestion, not a claim that one storage product fits every room. Use what you already own before adding more items.
Reset before moving furniture
Remove the drink before folding a table, shifting a chair into place or carrying a tray. Steadi is freestanding, not an attachment to furniture. When the drink is finished, hand wash the holder as needed and let it dry. It can then stay near the next place you will use it instead of occupying the table all day.
Try the routine before buying more
For a few ordinary days, notice what interrupts the reset. If the table itself is too small or unstable, a cup holder is not the solution to that underlying issue. If the spot is good but your compatible drink needs a wider base, Steadi may be a useful addition. Keep the distinction between making space and stabilizing a drink clear.
