Why a drink tips in a small room
A wider base helps resist tipping, but the surface and placement still matter.
The holder and the surface work together
A tall drink can be knocked or tilted when a hand, sleeve or nearby object contacts it. Steadi gives compatible drinkware a wider support footprint. It does not fasten the drink to the furniture or seal the opening, so a forceful bump or moving support can still lead to a spill.
A wider footprint needs full support
All of Steadi’s 5.2-inch base should rest on a level, supported spot. Overhanging an edge or sitting partly on a book defeats that simple placement check. More width does not make a sloping cushion, unstable table or moving tray suitable. If the surface shifts when you sit down, choose another place.
Fit is measured at the bottom
The confirmed range is 2–3.15 inches across the container base, inclusive. The top rim and capacity label do not give that measurement. Check that the container is seated fully and that a low handle or added boot does not interfere. An illustration or similar-looking model is not proof of fit.
Small rooms add movement around the spot
In a compact room, one area may be used for sitting, walking and storage. Keep the drink away from the path of a swinging cabinet door, passing bag or chair being moved. A wider base helps with the drink’s stance; thoughtful placement addresses the surrounding room.
Know which problem you are solving
Steadi is a drink stabilizer, not a table, waterproof coaster, lid or furniture restraint. Choose another surface when needed, and clean up moisture according to the furniture maker’s care guidance. No quantified tipping angle or spill-prevention percentage is claimed here.
